This event took place on Saturday, 20th June 2009 at Yellowcraigs beach near Dirleton in East Lothian. One of the main ideas behind it was to give an opportunity for the teachers and Sunday school children to get to know each other better and spend time together outside the classroom environment; however, everyone else was welcome. First there was a barbecue; we had a great variety of food as everyone contributed. Then there was time to simply chill out, play badminton, have a chat, enjoy the sea and finally play football and baseball on the beach.Altogether, it was a great time in which we could enjoy the day spent together as a family and make everyone else who came along feel welcome.
